Several years ago, we moved to the Western Highlands of Scotland, for a complete change of scenery. And that, we can assure you, is spectacular, to say the least.
A Victorian Farmhouse was built around 1865 here at Achnabobane and we are lucky enough to have commanding views of the imposing and majestic Nevis Mountain range. We are just a few miles from Spean Bridge to the North and Fort William to the South, just off the main route to Inverness.
Sadly, no longer to be greeted by Morse or to be more precise, Aranisle Detective Chief Inspector Morse!(Promoted 2005) He was an extremely bright, gentle, playful and a thoroughly loveable Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Just a little over 14 years old. Morse, passed away on Thursday 4th February 2016. Two new arrivals, now nearly 6 years old and causing absolute havoc, Posy (Nov 2010 -), a tortoiseshell and Rupert (Nov 2010 -), black and white, the kittens are growing up fast and exploring the great outdoors. Morse will be sopleased as the kittens love him to death and he would be most grateful for a little peace and quiet! Covid-19 Update

A powerful cleaner, disinfectant and deodoriser, effectively destroying a wide spectrum of bacteria, fungi and viruses at the source. It eliminates odours and leaves a fresh fragrance. Safe to use on all water washable surfaces such as floors, soft furnishings, walls, cages, bedding, yards, carpets, curtains, toilets and drains. Unlike conventional disinfectants it will not cause detrimental effect to animals and is safe to use around them. This means there is no need to re rinse the treated area. Check-in:
Guests may 'Check in' from 16:00hrs (4 p.m.) - 19:00hrs (7 p.m.) Earlier check by prior arrangement.
Cancellation Policy:
All cancellations may be made by telephone but must be confirmed in writing and must be acknowledged by Achnabobane Farmhouse directly.
The Guest can cancel free of charge until 30 days before arrival. The Guest will be charged the total price if cancelled within the 30 days prior to arrival. If a No Show they will be charged according to the condition set out below.
Late Arrivals:
If you are expecting to arrive after 19:00hrs (7p.m.), please telephone with an updated Expected Time of Arrival (ETA) at your earliest convenience. We reserve the right to determine what time is 'reasonable' and what is not.
If we do not receive, from the Guest, any notice of arrival time (ETA) and/or arrival is later than 19:00hrs (7 p.m.) without consultation we reserve the right to consider the booking cancelled/no show and card(s) debited accordingly with an additional £65.00 admin fee and the room re-let.
The cancellation policy will be enforced.
